Niujorko garage rock / post-punk atstovai „The Strokes“ šių metų balandį grįžo su šeštuoju albumu „The New Abnormal“ (rašėme čia), kuris nominuotas GRAMMY apdovanojimui, kaip „Best Rock Album/ Geriausias Roko Albumas“ . Jį aptarėme ir balandžio albumų apžvalgoje.
Neseniai „The Strokes“ porą šio albumo kūrinių atliko gyvai (rašėme čia) ir vienas jų buvo– „The Adults Are Talking“, kuriam grupė sukūrė ir vaizdo klipą, kurį režisavo Roman Coppola (dažnai dirbantis su „Phoenix“ ir Wes Anderson) . Jame – grupės nariai kovoja su robotais beisbolo aikštėje, o vėliau žmogaus- roboto kova perkeliama ir į kitas sporto (ir ne tik) šakas.
